About Diane Walton

After a series of interesting careers, I settled into the world of real estate in 2001 and have never looked back! Having worked mostly in the travel and freelance streams, my years as a tour leader in southeast Asia, photographer and a freelance writer has made me a natural when dealing with client wants and needs. My experience and diversity has served me well in real estate and I've received Awards of Excellence in real estate sales every year since 2003. My sense of fun, hard work, ethics and adherence to the three 'Rs' - Respect, Reliability and Resourcefulness, give me an edge when helping clients buying and selling homes. Being a homeowner I understand that it is one of life's biggest decisions. Helping you through it at every level is my aim. I service many parts of the GTA including Leslieville (where I also live) Riverdale, the Beach, Central East Toronto, Downtown condos, Yonge/Eglinton and Bloordale. As a working Realtor and resident of Leslieville, I was lucky to be approached by The Globe and Mail in mid 2006 when I 'welcomed' the new Starbucks location at Logan & Queen in a front page spread in their Report on Business section. **read the article in the 'Starbucks is Coming' column. Leslieville neighbours the Beach - the jury is 'in' on that one - , including Ashbridges Bay and Cherry Beach (the best place to walk your dog in Toronto!). Houses in Leslieville date back to the late 19th century and the area is home to a diverse mix of residents. It is also one of Toronto's hottest neighbourhoods! Be sure to visit 'The Maple Leaf Cottage' on Laing St. when you are visiting the area. It's home to Alexander Muir, who penned Canada's first anthem, 'The Maple Leaf Forever'. You'll see a beautiful mural of Leslieville at the corner of Jones and Queen Sts. commemorating this generous and gifted Leslieville resident.
