After a series of interesting careers, I settled into the world of real estate in 2001 and have never looked back! Having worked mostly in the travel and freelance streams, my years as a tour leader in southeast Asia, photographer and a freelance writer has made me a natural when dealing with client wants and needs. My experience and diversity has served me well in real estate and I've received Awards of Excellence in real estate sales every year since 2003. Houses in Leslieville date back to the late 19th century and the area is home to a diverse mix of residents. It is also one of Toronto's hottest neighbourhoods! Be sure to visit 'The Maple Leaf Cottage' on Laing St. when you are visiting the area. It's home to Alexander Muir, who penned Canada's first anthem, 'The Maple Leaf Forever'. You'll see a beautiful mural of Leslieville at the corner of Jones and Queen Sts. commemorating this generous and gifted Leslieville resident.
